Volunteers Needed

It takes a lot to help our programs run.  If you are interested in helping out behind the scenes or at some of our public events please let us know.  Due to the fact that some volunteers will be working with children, a background check will be required.  See below for ways that you can be part of our herd. 

Onsite/Offsite visits with our Reading with Roury program
This program is offered to local libraries, schools, day care providers and other youth organizations. 
We bring our mini horse Rory to visit the program.  Each child gets a chance to read with or just visit with Roury and also can participate in our Horse Powered Reading® & Math and Social Emotional Learning activity stations.

       set up and clean up
       running the activity stations

•        Sharing information with families about our program offerings. ​​

Committee Members to help us with various parts of running the non profit.

•        Fundraising Team - help organize fundraising events
•        Marketing Team- help promote our programs in various ways
•        Sponsorship Team- reach out to local businesses to sponsor our programs
•        Community Outreach Team- connect us to local youth organizations 
•        Social Media Team - help us with social media posts via Facebook and Instagram
